globalcompact_logo2UN Global Compact Latvian network members, which include PriBalt Capital, meetings are held several times a year. The aim of those meetings is to review, analyze and draft a decision about various EU directives that promotes CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) environment in businesses, as well as to inform participants about current . . .

. . . events and the UN Global Compact operational development plans.

Last meeting took place on 15th of April 2011. During this meeting was (1) delivered retrospection on ECL (Latvian Employers' Confederation) activities, as UNGCLN (UN Global Compact Latvian Network) and (2) given review of the UN Global Compact news. In addition, there was a brief insight into the historic United Nations Global Compact activities in Latvia and was given detailed instructions on how to become a member of this network to companies that for some period had ceased their activities in this organization, as well as for newcomers.
